Schottenring 12 / Hohenstaufengasse 17, 1010 Vienna
The connected inner courtyards have been glassed over to create a spacious, atrium-style entrance foyer. The office premises are furnished in contemporary style with cavity floors, a fan coil climate control system and attractive high-end appointments. As well as acting as project manager for the renovation work, ÖRAG provided on-site building supervision and handled the tendering process for all the required sub-contracted services.
The complex is extremely convenient for public transport, just a few steps away from the U2 underground and tram interchange at Schottenringpassage. After office hours the city-centre cafés and bars are virtually outside the front door.
The story behind the name: Schottenring takes its name from the Monastery of the Scots, which was actually founded by Benedictine monks from Ireland in the Middle Ages.
