A roller ferry connects Weißenkirchen with the opposite bank of the Danube.
Public transport connections are excellent - primarily via the Wachau Line (Bus 715) between Krems and Melk and the Wachau Railway, which connects Krems and Spitz.
From Vienna you can take the Franz-Josefs-Bahn (REX) to Krems and from here the 715 bus to the village.
The infrastructure is very good - you will find numerous shopping facilities here, such as a bakery, farm store, department store and Spar supermarket.
The village also has a post office, doctors and various restaurants, mainly numerous wine taverns.
Every summer, the Wachau Festival takes place at the Teisenhoferhof.
The property is located above the village center on the Weitenberg in a built-up settlement. Due to its location on the edge of the settlement at the top of the Weitenberg, there is an unobstructed view over the directly adjacent vineyards as far as the Danube.
