The characteristic feature of the building is its elliptical ground plan, which specifically allows open-plan office design with organic layouts, a departure from traditional, geometrically arranged office suites. This organic shape is counterbalanced by the angular room dividers in the office interior.
The layout was planned by ÖRAG in consultation with the tenant. The premises are equipped with a fan-coil air-conditioning system and cavity floors to accommodate the technical installations. The ÖRAG Construction Management team managed the entire refurbishment process.
Incidentally: The building was named after Andromeda, a character from Greek mythology. The daughter of the Ethiopian king Cepheus and his wife Cassiopeia, she was chained to a cliff as a sacrifice to appease a sea monster.
